As a Registered Nurse, you will provide compassionate, patient-centered care by leading the coordination and delivery of nursing services. You will support patients and their families through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans. Your role is vital in ensuring high-quality care, effective communication with the healthcare team, and finding solutions to meet patient goals. Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
  • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
  • Health care provider certification (BCLS).
  • Wound Care Certification, Ostomy Certification or WOCN.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred.
  • Prefer one year minimum of Inpatient Wound Care hospital experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering compassionate patient care.
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Delegate, supervise, and document nursing care and patient/family education.
  • Communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in identifying and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.
