Registered Nurse FT Days Wound Care
About The Position
Specializes in assessing, treating, and educating patients with complex wounds, such as pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, surgical wounds, burns, and skin tears, by developing personalized care plans, cleaning wounds, applying appropriate dressings, monitoring healing progress, and providing patient education on wound care management to promote optimal healing and prevent complications. They often collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. This is a fast-paced environment where you will work with a highly motivated interdisciplinary team. You will demonstrate the ability to consistently provide safe, patient-centered care and handle/support various organizational responsibilities.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in Connecticut
- BLS (AHA/ARC)

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
- Acute care experience
- Medical-Surgical experience
- Wound Care experience
