This role involves providing care to patients in the Vascular Acute Care department. Responsibilities include supporting pre and post renal transplant patients, caring for post-surgical patients undergoing procedures such as carotid revascularization, stents, amputations, surgical monitoring, and general surgeries like appendectomies, cholecystectomies, and thyroidectomies. The role also involves caring for patients with significant peripheral vascular compromise requiring surgical intervention, and developing skills with various drips (PCA pumps, heparin, insulin) and wound care (Wet-to-Dry, wound VAC, post-surgical drains).
