About The Position

Full-time roles are eligible for a sign-on bonus, dependent upon FTE. This position supports Pediatric Urology Surgeons and APPs, providing patient education and assisting with office procedures at the Riley downtown location. The Registered Nurse is accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of competent, evidence-based care, including assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse participates in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care, achieve outcomes, and enhance operational efficiency. This position may perform duties associated with symptom management, direct in-clinic patient care, telehealth patient care, and quality improvement activities. The Registered Nurse adheres to the ANA Scope and Standards of Professional Nursing and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements. Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of RN experience
  • Associate of Nursing (ASN)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
