About The Position
The Unit Manager is a registered nurse responsible for coordinating the clinical care of an assigned unit within the center’s 24-hour operation and ensuring consistent and quality care for all residents. This role involves assessing needs, implementing care using the latest technology, and collaborating within a strong interdisciplinary team. The position offers a starting salary of $86,000 per year (up to $90,000) plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus, with yearly salary increases. Faith Haven Senior Care Center is located at 6531 W Michigan Ave, Jackson, MI 49201, with surrounding locations within commutable distance.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- At least 2 years of related experience.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Michigan.
- Current CPR-BLS certification.
- A high level of analytical abilities in order to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being.

Responsibilities
- Supervise the nursing team, including giving direction, assignments, offering training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations.
- Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
- Instruct the team regarding the skilled care process and function as a resource person for clinical issues.
- Ensure the completion of requested reports, i.e., infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality management, etc.
- Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, their families, and visitors.
- Promote a positive, healthy environment in which to heal and thrive through kind words and encouragement.
