RN Triage - Gastro
About The Position
Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $35.15 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October. This position is part-time, requiring 20 hours per week, with two 10-hour shifts. The office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs. Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Triage Nurse is a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for patient care needs through the use of inbound and outbound telephone practice. The Triage Nurse continuously demonstrates positive customer relationship skills by assessing caller needs through active listening, clinical assessment, education and advanced problem-solving abilities. The Triage Nurse will actively manage patient's immediate and ongoing needs with attention to acute and preventative intervention.
Requirements
- Current Illinois RN licensure
- Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA)
- Self-starter, able to handle periods of high stress
- Prolonged periods of standing/walking/sitting/bending/reaching/climbing and repetitive use of hands
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and carry/push up to 20 lbs.
- Able to effectively communicate in English, both written & verbal
