Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Medicine
About The Position
Passport Health is North America's largest travel medicine and immunization provider, with over 300 clinics across the U.S. and Canada. This role offers experienced RNs an opportunity to move away from high-pressure hospital or traditional clinic settings into a role focused on autonomy, specialized expertise, and one-on-one patient connection. In this position, nurses largely run their own clinics, owning the patient experience with support from clinical leadership. Travel medicine is a specialty where nurses develop deep expertise in vaccine-preventable diseases, international health risks, and pre-travel health planning. Each client interaction is a true consultation.
Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing.
- 2+ years of clinical nursing experience.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Strong patient communication and education skills.
- Reliable access to a personal computer (desktop or laptop required for training systems).
- Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Meet).
- Current First Aid/CPR certification.
- Ability to lift and transport vaccine inventory as needed.

- Willing to work the range of both clinic types without switching locations.
- Reliable for weekend coverage and flexible with scheduling.

Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth travel health consultations and educate clients on destination-specific risks.
- Administer vaccines per standing orders and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Recommend and promote travel health products and medications as clinically appropriate.
- Manage clinic setup, inventory, and compliance with safety and documentation protocols.
- Support onsite corporate wellness or vaccine clinic events as needed.
- Complete ongoing travel medicine training.
- Perform immigration physicals and maintain strict USCIS documentation compliance (at select locations).
