Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily clinical work-flows and allocate nursing resources to guarantee seamless, high quality care for critically ill trauma and neurological patients.
  • Lead employee life-cycle processes including hiring, training, and performance evaluations to cultivate a highly skilled, engaged, and resilient ICU nursing team.
  • Resolve care delivery obstacles immediately to safeguard patient safety and optimize clinical outcomes in high stress situations.
  • Design unit-specific policies and procedures to maximize operational efficiency and maintain strict compliance with healthcare regulatory standards.
  • Manage unit budget allocations and monitor expenditures to ensure the ICU remains fully equipped with vital, lifesaving medical resources.
