Registered Nurse – Trauma ICU (TICU)

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Trauma ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care to acutely and critically ill patients in a dynamic Level I Trauma Center environment. In this role, you will care for patients facing complex, life-threatening conditions requiring advanced monitoring, specialized therapies, and rapid clinical decision-making. The ideal candidate thrives in high-acuity settings, demonstrates strong critical thinking skills, and is passionate about delivering patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum 2 years of recent Trauma ICU experience (within the last 3 years)
- Previous experience in a Level I Trauma Center
- Experience in a high-acuity ICU setting required
- Current Nevada Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- ABLS required
- TNCC and/or CCRN certification required
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, individualized nursing care to critically ill and trauma patients
- Monitor, assess, and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions
- Administer complex medication protocols and advanced therapies
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Support patients and families through critical care treatment and recovery
