About The Position

Northwestern Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a full-time night position in Transplant Hepatology. This role involves caring for high-acuity patients, including those undergoing liver, kidney, and pancreas transplants, as well as those with liver disease. The unit is part of a leading academic medical center with a strong focus on patient care, research, and professional development. Nurses are encouraged to participate in quality committees, evidence-based practice initiatives through the LEAD program, and benefit from a supportive interdisciplinary team and attentive leadership. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for providing and coordinating competent, evidence-based care, adhering to professional nursing standards and the organization's mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

Graduate of an NLN accredited school/college of nursing
Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or higher
Current State of Illinois, Registered Professional Nurse license
Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR through American Heart Association.
Analytic ability (conceptual and quantitative)
Oral, listening and written communication skills
Strong human relation skills to interact effectively and collaborate with others in difficult situations
Use of a keyboard to enter or retrieve data
