About The Position

This role involves leading the delivery of compassionate, evidence-based nursing care, ensuring every intervention aligns with the highest safety standards and organizational protocols. The nurse will monitor and communicate real-time patient status to the care team, enabling swift, life-saving clinical decisions. This position also coordinates care efforts across multiple specialties, acting as the central hub between hospitalists, cardiologists, and NPs to provide a seamless, high-quality patient experience. The nurse will execute advanced clinical skills, including cardiac drip titration and ACLS protocols, to provide expert-level support for high-acuity patients and manage the full discharge process, ensuring patients and families transition from the unit with clarity and confidence.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
