Requirements

One year of recent acute care nurse experience is required.
RN Diploma, ASN required.
PA RN license.

Nice To Haves

Telemetry nurse experience preferred.
BSN preferred.
Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.
NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide care and treatment to patients within Telemetry, Clinical Decision, Telemetry/Oncology, Telemetry/Cardiac, and Medical Surgical/Telemetry/Orthopedic units.
Work with a diverse patient population based on diagnosis, including high acuity patients.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
Develop clinical skills and potentially find a specialty.
Educate patients on self-care and managing conditions like congestive heart failure and stroke.
Participate in hospital and system-wide Nursing Committees, Unit Councils, and evidence-based research projects.
Precept new staff.
Pursue the Clinical Ladder program.
