About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Observation Unit at Ascension Seton Medical Center Hays in Kyle, TX. Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year previous Telemetry Med-Surg experience preferred.
• Bachelors in Nursing preferred

Responsibilities

• Implement and track customized, evidence-based patient care plans.
• Record and communicate real-time condition changes to the care team.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient outcomes.
• Precisely carry out physician and nursing directives with clinical accuracy.
• Manage discharge planning to ensure safe and successful patient transitions.
