About The Position
CoxHealth South is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgical 900 W unit, a 25-bed adult medical/surgical unit specializing in GI and GU post-surgical patients. The unit offers specialized training in areas such as suprapubic catheter insertion and post-bariatric surgery care. This role is ideal for someone looking to join a team that prioritizes patient care and manages a wide variety of diagnoses. The unit collaborates closely with other disciplines to ensure excellent patient outcomes and is equipped with advanced technology, including a virtual nursing program. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
- RN license active in the state of Missouri.
- BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate effective leadership abilities.
- Exhibits valuable time management skills.
- Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Previous nursing experience.
