About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking passionate and experienced nurses to join their Surgical Trauma Critical Care (STCC) unit. This 20-bed unit cares for patients with multiple types of surgeries, injuries, and conditions, requiring nurses to have a broad knowledge base in critical care, trauma, and multi-system challenges. The role involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, clinical pharmacists, and dieticians. Requirements

  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN).
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience (subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer).
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

  • Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
