About The Position

The Staff Nurse will deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. The Staff Nurse will collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other members of the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care. This position is located on a mixed unit of General Surgical, Oncology/Chemo, and Hospice at Elmhurst Main Hospital.

Requirements

Associate Degree or higher in Nursing, If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date (effective September 1, 2021)
Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification within four years of start date into position

Nice To Haves

RN Diploma Nurse if position start date is prior to September 1, 2021
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing
1 year of inpatient nursing experience is highly preferred
