Registered Nurse - Surgical Intermediate Care Unit - FT Days
About The Position
The Registered Nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. This role provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). The nurse also directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care. Methodist Richardson Medical Center is a 443-bed, full-service, acute care hospital that serves Richardson, Garland, Plano, and surrounding areas in Dallas and Collin counties. It is a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center and the nation’s first hospital to receive The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval ® for Pancreatic/Hepatic/Biliary Cancer Certification. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Current additional certifications as required by department
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
- At least 6 months RN experience
