About The Position
Provides professional nursing care according to the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. Employs critical thinking skills to assess patients' condition, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor patients' progress, and record pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff and functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. These are general characteristics, and duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.
Requirements
- Requires 1+ years' of RN experience in an inpatient unit setting
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
- If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Basic Life Support
