About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical team in Beckley, West Virginia. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care while working collaboratively with physicians, surgical staff, and other healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have previous surgical nursing experience, strong clinical judgment, and a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- One year of surgery experience required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six months of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within six months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced Surgical Life Support (ASLS) certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and effective nursing care to surgical patients.
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures and provide post-operative care.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Assist the surgical team as needed throughout the perioperative process.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
