About The Position

This is a full-time Registered Nurse position in the Surgery Department at Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery. The department provides pain management, endoscopy, and lithotripsy procedures, and is responsible for patient preparation, procedure performance, and recovery. It is described as a fast-paced environment with a great team, offering opportunities for cross-training and career development. The hospital itself is an 18-bed physician-owned facility serving Collin, Dallas, and Denton counties, offering a wide range of surgical and outpatient services in a comfortable, boutique-hotel-like setting.

Requirements

Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree of Nursing
1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
Previous Operating Room (OR) experience
RN – Registered Nurse upon hire
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire
PALS – Pediatric Advance Life Support within 90 days of hire
CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days
A high degree of confidentiality
Positive interpersonal skills
Ability to function in a fast-paced environment
