About The Position
The Surgery Oncology Unit at Deaconess Gateway combines advanced surgical care with specialized oncology treatment, creating a unique opportunity to build meaningful relationships while delivering exceptional patient-centered care. This 32-bed unit cares for patients recovering from surgery as well as oncology patients receiving chemotherapy, symptom management, and ongoing treatment. With private patient rooms, remote telemetry capabilities, and a family-centered approach, nurses play a vital role in supporting patients through some of life's most challenging moments. This unit offers the opportunity to blend clinical excellence with compassionate care, making a difference every day while working alongside a collaborative and supportive team.
Requirements
- Active Indiana RN license or valid compact RN license
Responsibilities
- Caring for patients recovering from surgery.
- Providing care for oncology patients receiving chemotherapy, symptom management, and ongoing treatment.
