About The Position

The Surgery Ambulatory Department at Texas Health Plano is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN/Days position. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a supportive, collaborative nursing environment. Texas Health Plano is a 386-bed, full-service hospital serving North Texas, specializing in various medical services including advanced surgical services. They are a Level II Trauma Facility with Level IV NICU and Level IV Maternal facility designations, and a DNV-certified Comprehensive Stroke Program. The hospital is a four-time Magnet-designated hospital with numerous accreditations and awards.

Requirements

Nursing Diploma in nursing required or Associate’s degree in nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
Other – CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required
1 year of experience as a registered nurse required
1+ of critical care experience
RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire required
ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days required
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
