Registered Nurse Supervisor Ambulatory & Outpatient Supportive Oncology
About The Position
This role is for a Registered Nurse Supervisor in the Ambulatory & Outpatient Supportive Oncology department at Atrium Health. The department focuses on supportive care in cancer, with over 25 nurses across different sections and locations. The position operates Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no holidays or weekends. The population served includes patients who have had cancer or are actively undergoing cancer treatment, all aged 18 and older. The supervisor will focus on daily operations, problem-solving, and providing professional growth opportunities for the team. Participation in department leadership meetings concerning operations, education, and program development is also expected.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing).

- Previous management experience preferred.
- Previous Oncology experience preferred.
