About The Position

Freedom Village at Brandywine is currently hiring a Full-Time RN Supervisor with Weekend rotation for in our small, 50-bed, 5-Star-rated Skilled Nursing Facility. The Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) is responsible for the overall nursing care/service, and management of all personnel on his/her shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls, as indicated. Our team members provide extraordinary care and hold each other accountable.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. RN with a current license in Pennsylvania.
Supervisory experience required.
Basic computer proficiency.
Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression.
Can communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year experience in geriatric nursing Long Term Care (LTC) a plus.

Responsibilities

Supervise direct care of residents and nursing personnel on your shift.
Administer direct care as necessary.
Give and receive shift reports.
Round and assure that proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment.
Keep physicians and families aware of changes in resident’s condition.
Assist in developing comprehensive care plans
Maintain the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident
Maintain accurate documentation of all care rendered.
Respond to resident emergency call system.
Interface with other disciplines to assure continuity of care and services.
Accompanies physicians when making rounds.
Encourage restorative care in order to obtain maximum resident independence
