About The Position

The Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) will work every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. This role supports the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality care and achieving positive clinical outcomes, patient/family satisfaction, and employee satisfaction. Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Director of Nursing with the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes, and patient/family and employee satisfaction.
• Leads, guides, and directs the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shift, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, practice standards, and regulations.
• Facilitates the implementation of the care delivery model and processes, mentoring staff, and coordinating and communicating with other departments.
• Collaborates with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff for safe, 24/7 nursing care, with an emphasis on limiting overtime and agency personnel.
• Participates in staff recruitment, new hire orientation, and makes recommendations for employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.
