About The Position
Collaborating with a Skilled Nursing Facility in the Bronx, NY that is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor. This is a full-time and in-person position, with shifts available from 3pm-11pm or 11pm-7am. The organization provides compassionate, personalized skilled nursing, rehabilitation, memory care, and dialysis services from a serene, multi-building campus surrounded by well-kept gardens. Serving hundreds of residents from diverse backgrounds, it offers both long-term care and flexible inpatient/outpatient rehabilitation. The facility delivers around-the-clock physician support, a board-certified renal care team for dialysis patients, and adaptive memory care that evolves with residents’ needs. Each unit is supported by assigned social workers to address residents’ social and emotional well-being. To foster family connections, courtesy transportation is provided for easy visits, and a variety of tailored recreational programs nurture social, creative, and intellectual engagement for enhanced daily life.
Requirements
- Valid NYS RN License.
- 1+ years Experience in Long-Term Care required.
- 1+ years Experience in nursing required.
- Valid NYS RN License
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the DON and ADON to assess, manage, and oversee day-to-day operations of the Nursing Department, adhering to current regulations, guidelines, and facility policies.
- Ensure all nursing personnel are aligned with their job descriptions, maintaining consistency and excellence in patient care.
- Lead and problem solve any clinical and administrative emergencies that arise on the tour.
- Support staff through education and leadership.
- Hold staff accountable when necessary.
- Conduct daily rounds in the Nursing Services Department to guarantee that all nursing staff adhere to recognized nursing standards.
- Act on behalf of the leadership team providing great coaching and customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff.
- Participate in facility surveys conducted by authorized government agencies, as directed by the DON and ADON.
