About The Position

Parkwood Behavioral Health System, a UHS facility, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor for night shifts. This role involves supervising the delivery of nursing care on a designated unit, in addition to performing the duties of a Registered Nurse. Parkwood has been providing behavioral health and chemical dependency services to the Mid-South region since 1987, offering a full continuum of care for adults, adolescents, and children. The facility includes a 148-bed inpatient acute and residential care facility, as well as partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. Requirements

Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required.
One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred.
Licensure and registration by the Mississippi Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse, or multi-state license as approved by NCSBN.
Current CPR or BLS certification.
Must possess knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes, therapeutic relationships and processes, age specific growth and development, limit setting, crisis and behavior management and CPR training.
