About The Position

COME BUILD YOUR CAREER WITH VIBRA HEALTHCARE! We are seeking a PRN Night Shift Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team! The Meadows of Central Massachusetts is an 82-bed transitional care facility located alongside Vibra Hospital of Western Massachusetts – Central Campus. The Meadows provides comprehensive skilled nursing and rehabilitation services for individuals in need of specialized medical care before they can return home or to another care setting. Many of our patients have suffered serious injuries or illnesses. As a result, they require day-to-day help while they work toward recovery and regain their independence. Our comprehensive, personalized approach to patient care incorporates therapeutic intervention and medical management. We specialize in providing short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and respite care services.

Requirements

Diploma or Associate of Science Degree in Nursing required.
Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
Ability to project a professional image.
Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
Current ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor preferred.
Critical care experience preferred.
Three (3) years of experience in a skilled nursing setting preferred.
Prior supervisory experience preferred.
CCRN preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the delivery of efficient, high quality resident care.
Responsible for personnel, management, and coordination of nursing service activities for the scheduled working shift, in accordance with established philosophy, objectives and policies of the facility.
Works with employees and other mangers to develop systems and procedures necessary for daily operations, and provides training, information and support to solve problems and accomplish assigned objectives.
