About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor (RNSUP) to oversee nursing operations in a long-term care setting. The RN Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating patient care, supervising nursing staff, ensuring compliance with clinical standards, and maintaining quality care delivery during assigned shifts.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills required
- Ability to manage multiple staff and patient care priorities required
- Strong knowledge of nursing standards, safety, and compliance regulations required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment required
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills required
- Commitment to quality patient care and team collaboration required
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in nursing supervision or leadership role preferred
- Strong clinical background in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Experience in documentation and care coordination preferred
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily nursing activities on assigned shift
- Ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical standards
- Oversee nursing staff performance and provide guidance as needed
- Monitor patient conditions and ensure timely escalation of concerns
- Support care planning and interdisciplinary communication
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulations
- Review and support accurate clinical documentation and reporting
- Assist with staffing coordination and shift coverage needs
- Respond to clinical emergencies and provide leadership during critical situations
- Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic care environment
- Ensure proper communication between nursing teams and management
- Monitor infection control, safety, and quality assurance practices
