Registered Nurse Supervisor-Service Line Educator (RN) - Med Tele/Progressive
About The Position
This is a full-time Registered Nurse Supervisor-Service Line Educator position for the Medical Telemetry/Progressive Care unit at Atrium Health Cabarrus. The role focuses on education across three service lines: Oncology, Nephrology, and Progressive Care. The Medical Telemetry unit is a 14-bed facility that monitors cardiac patients and manages low-risk cardiac drips. It offers a collaborative and dynamic environment for patient care, specializing in low-to-moderate acuity patients requiring close monitoring and specialized interventions. The team works closely with various healthcare professionals. There is an option for cross-training to the Nephrology/Inpatient Oncology units, which includes skills like Chemotherapy administration and Peritoneal Dialysis.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- BSN or Enrolled in BSN program required
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
