The Structural Heart Coordinator will report to the Cardiology Manager. The Structural Heart Coordinator will function as a central figure in the overall operations of the Valve Clinic with specific emphasis on Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), and Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (LAAO) program. Expected roles include direct patient contact and coordination of care as well as the coordination of weekly meetings and presentations. Specific responsibilities will include scheduling outpatient evaluations and follow-ups, implantation scheduling, maintaining the valve database, and overseeing documentation (creation of order sets, etc.) of the patient experience. The coordinator will work in concert with a dedicated team of physicians, nurses, technicians, and administrators to ensure optimal care and efficiency for patients with valve disease. Coordinate the TVT and LAAO- NCDR data registry, including data collection, quality reports; outcomes report review, and analysis. Work in collaboration with multi-disciplinary team including quality and associated medical and clinical staff, to ensure TVT and LAAO Registry meets quality metrics and that associated processes are carried out.
