About The Position

The PCU Registered Nurse provides intermediate-level patient care for cardiac and medically complex patients. The RN monitors telemetry, manages cardiac conditions, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, evidence-based care during 12-hour night shifts. This role requires adaptability, strong clinical judgment, and compliance with strict facility policies.

Requirements

• RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Minimum 2 years PCU experience (ICU experience required)
• AHA BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS required prior to start
• Epic EMR proficiency level 3 or 4 (mandatory)
• Experience with cardiac drips (no titration)
• Must be nicotine-free (negative 10-panel + cotinine required)
• COVID-19 & Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Pending license accepted; no license hits allowed
• 2 supervisory references (18 months minimum experience)

Responsibilities
