About The Position

This is a Stepdown Neuro RN position in a Neuro PCU. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:4 at night, but can sometimes be 1:5. The role requires floating to other divisions, assisting with overflow, and managing ED holds. The position requires working 2-3 holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. The position offers 84 hours bi-weekly with a 72-hour guarantee.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Travel experience required.
• Epic experience strongly preferred.
• ACLS required.
• BLS required.
• NIHSS required.

Nice To Haves

• CPI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a Stepdown Neuro unit.
• Manage a patient load of 1:4 or 1:5 at night.
• Float to other divisions as needed.
• Assist with overflow patient care.
• Manage ED holds.
