About The Position

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Registered Nurse to join our Specialty Clinic Cardiology team! Utilizes a systematic approach to nursing practice incorporating assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, recognized professional standards and Park Nicollet Health Services policy.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of RN experience in ambulatory or acute care cardiology, ICU or Emergency Center setting.
Must maintain a current Minnesota registered nurse license.
Basic life support/cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification.
BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.
Strong clinical and human relations skills.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and maintain standards of clinical skills and professional ethics as established by the Nurse Practice Act and Park Nicollet Health Services.
Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and ensure safety of patients.
Basic computer/keyboarding/mouse skills required.
Safely and effectively operates the following: Various Health Testing Equipment, personal computer, photocopier, printer, and telephone. Cardiac monitor, EKG machine, Pulse Oximetry, and all code cart emergency equipment.

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred.
Prior experience with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
Prefer rhythm strip interpretations skills.
