About The Position

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking passionate and caring Registered Nurses specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence (NSWOC) to join their team. The role involves providing exceptional nursing care to clients in their homes and communities, ensuring they are treated with respect, dignity, and kindness. Nurses will utilize their clinical judgment and skills to deliver high-quality care. Nursing care will be delivered with compassion, excellence, and responsiveness, in the comfort and safety of the client's specific care setting.

Requirements

  • Current Registration as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Certification as a NSWOC/Enterostomal Therapist
  • Debridement Certification
  • Advanced wound care expertise
  • RN level nurses who have graduated from an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current registration with the provincial licensing body.
  • Certification as Nurse Specialized in Wound Ostomy & Continence (NSWOC) or International Interprofessional Wound Care Course (IIWCC) or Canadian Nurse Associate Certification (WOCC).
  • Two years previous experience in the development of wound care management programs in the hospital or community setting.
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Clear criminal background check (with vulnerable sector screening)
  • Negative TB test
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Auto insurance
  • Reliable vehicle

Nice To Haves

  • Previous visiting nursing experience will be considered an asset.
