About The Position
Three Links Care Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Skilled Nursing unit. This role involves coordinating resident care and documentation, potentially directing personnel, and fostering teamwork to achieve facility goals and mission. The RN ensures services comply with current regulations and standards, requiring professional interaction with residents, staff, and families, a positive work attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively. Direct care activities are also part of the role, emphasizing patience, tact, respect, courtesy, kindness, and confidentiality when dealing with residents, visitors, and staff.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Currently licensed as an RN/LPN in the state of Minnesota.
- Must maintain current unencumbered license with the Board of Nursing.
- Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to use computers and electronic records.
- Ability to deal tactfully and use good communication and customer service skills with clients and their families.
- Ability to demonstrate good judgment and observation skills.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating resident care and required documentation according to established policies, procedures, and standard of practice.
- Assuming some responsibility in directing personnel.
- Fostering teamwork and contributing to the facility goals and mission.
- Ensuring that services follow current regulations and standards.
- Relating professionally with clients, staff and family members, displaying a positive work attitude and ability to work as a team with other staff members.
- Performing direct care activities.
- Dealing with residents, visitors, and other staff with patience, tact, respect, courtesy, and kindness.
- Treating patients’ information confidentially.
