About The Position

Sentara Health is hiring an Experienced RN to work at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital on the Same Day Surgery Unit. This is a full-time position with 36 hours per week, working first shift (days). The hours of operation for the unit are 5:00 am - 7:30 pm, with 8 or 9-hour shifts. Limited call may be discussed at the time of interview. The Same Day Surgery Unit is a 20-bed unit seeking nurses with a minimum of 2 years of acute or critical care experience. Primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, administering medications, communicating with family members, and overall patient care. Requirements

Minimum 2 years acute or critical care experience highly preferred
Experience in a fast-paced unit
Valid RN license in good standing
ADN required
BSN or higher preferred
