Registered Nurse (RN) - Same Day Surgery
About The Position
Sentara Health is hiring for an RN to work at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital on the Same Day Surgery Unit. This is a full-time position with 36/40 hours per week, working day shifts. The hours of operation for the unit are 5:00 am - 7:30 pm, with 8 or 9-hour shifts. There are no weekends or holidays required, and limited call may be discussed at the time of interview. This role offers opportunities for career growth, leadership advancement, and specialization in various nursing areas. Primary duties include assessing and admitting patients, rounding checks, administering medications, communicating with family members, and overall patient care. The unit emphasizes exceptional teamwork to ensure the best patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years acute or critical care experience required
- Valid RN license in good standing
- ADN required
