About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) who will be working in the operating room. The role requires proficiency in a variety of surgical specialties including robotics, bariatric, general, colorectal, ortho/spine, vascular, urology, and gynecology. The schedule can be flexible, with options for 4x10 hour shifts or 3x12 hour shifts.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- RN First Assistant (RNFA) certification or equivalent.
- Proficiency in robotics surgery.
- Proficiency in bariatric surgery.
- Proficiency in general surgery.
- Proficiency in colorectal surgery.
- Proficiency in orthopedic/spine surgery.
- Proficiency in vascular surgery.
- Proficiency in urology surgery.
- Proficiency in gynecology surgery.
- 3 years of scrub experience required.
- 3 years of circulating experience required.
Responsibilities
- Provide first assistant surgical care.
