Registered Nurse (RN)
About The Position
Affirmed Home Care is hiring experienced per diem Registered Nurses to provide one-on-one care in patients’ homes throughout Bergen County, New Jersey. The role focuses on specialized home care cases requiring ventilator and tracheostomy (trach) experience, including in Elmwood Park, Hackensack, Rochelle Park, and surrounding communities. Compensation is $55 per hour for nursing shifts and $125 per RN visit. Scheduling is flexible and based on case needs, with weekday and weekend shifts and day and overnight options. Nurses provide care in patients’ homes and work with supportive, accessible clinical leadership.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Ventilator and tracheostomy care experience.
- At least 1 year of recent RN experience in an acute care or home care setting.
- Physical examination completed within the past 12 months.
- PPD or QuantiFERON completed within the past 12 months, or a chest X-ray within the past 5 years.
- Proof of flu vaccination or an approved medical exemption.
Nice To Haves
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- ICU, Medical-Surgical, Emergency Department, or Home Care nursing experience.
