The Registered Nurse (RN) will follow established standards of nursing practices and implement facility policies and procedures. This role involves interpreting policies, supervising and evaluating direct client care, and making frequent rounds. The RN will obtain and provide reports to the oncoming and off-going nurses, perform basic nursing skills, identify client problems and emergency situations, and initiate appropriate action. The position also includes following admission and discharge/transfer procedures, providing clinical supervision, assisting with staffing, participating in employee evaluations, and managing medication delivery and administration. The RN will conduct comprehensive client assessments, assist in developing treatment plans, and facilitate and document treatment groups. They will administer PRN medications and treatments, notify physicians of changes in client conditions, and document client care and responses. The role requires personal continuing education and supervision of client calls for assistance. The RN will act as a charge nurse and cover various shifts as needed. The position also involves supporting and assisting in crisis intervention and ensuring compliance with internal and external policies, procedures, regulations, and standards.
