JOIN OUR TEAM AS A REGISTERED NURSE (RN)! MBH is scheduled to open in June 2026, and we are building our team in preparation. We are looking for motivated, dependable, and dedicated caregivers to provide exceptional direct care and support to our patients. The Registered Nurse assesses, coordinates, and evaluates patient care in collaboration with health team members, in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care and practice. Actively engage in the health care team, offering direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians. Assess patients' physical and psychological conditions continuously throughout their care journey. Utilize the nursing process in alignment with the philosophy, objectives, values, mission, and core principles of MBH. Uphold a safe therapeutic environment grounded in our core values. Collaborate as an integral member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, actively contributing to the development, implementation, and documentation of tailored goals and interventions based on patient strengths and psychiatric challenges.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required and able to produce a valid Illinois State RN license.
  • At least three years of experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility.
  • Demonstrate exceptional crisis management and time management skills.
  • Showcase your flexibility and creativity with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Exhibit a calm, organized, and professional demeanor even in stressful situations.
  • Must pass a competency exam upon hire.
  • May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
