Registered Nurse (RN) Hiring Event
About The Position
Good Samaritan University Hospital, located in Port Jefferson, is looking to hire Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem RNs to support the Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, Detox, Rehabilitation, Mother/Baby, and Float Pool departments on Day and Night shifts. The St. Charles Campus Float Pool welcomes both experienced nurses and new graduates. Candidates with OB and/or Delivery Room experience are highly encouraged to apply. Team members will have the opportunity to build experience across multiple clinical areas, including cross-training opportunities within Mother/Baby services. This is an invite-only hiring event, and interested candidates should apply to this posting for consideration. The event location will be included upon invitation.
Requirements
- Passion for Nursing and caring for a diverse patient population.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree (will consider candidates currently enrolled in a BSN program).
- New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration required.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
Nice To Haves
- OB and/or Delivery Room experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, Detox, Rehabilitation, Mother/Baby, and Float Pool departments.
