Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU 36 HR Night
About The Position
Beverly ICU is a Beacon Awarded Critical Care unit serving cardiac and medical/surgical patients. The unit has a unit-based educator, provides individual orientation, and has an intensivist or physician assistant on site 24/7. As a Registered Nurse on the inpatient team, you will assess patients, administer medications and treatments, monitor progress, evaluate therapies, collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals on care strategies, and support and educate patients and their loved ones. This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The listed base hourly pay range is $37.00–$84.71 and compensation is governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Beth Israel Lahey Health requires staff to be vaccinated against influenza as a condition of employment.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- ICU experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Complete assessments, administer medications and treatments, observe patient progress, and evaluate therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient.
- Support and educate patients and their loved ones to achieve maximum outcomes.
