About The Position
Comfort Home Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Baylor/weekend shift in the Lynn area. This role offers a better work/life balance, the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients, and the flexibility, autonomy, and support needed to thrive. Our nurses assist psychiatric and home health patients in remaining independent, avoiding hospitalizations, and receiving care at home. The position provides competitive pay with a base salary and an uncapped incentive plan. Comfort Home Care has been a leader in psychiatric and home health nursing for over 17 years.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
- One year of nursing experience.
- A drive to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Reliable transportation for patient visits.
Nice To Haves
- Home health or psych nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess and adapt to each patient's current condition, medical needs, and overall well-being during visits.
- Create and modify patient care plans based on individual needs and changing conditions.
- Teach and support patients, providing medication guidance for psychiatric patients or wound care instructions for post-op patients.
- Communicate and coordinate with providers, families, and care teams to ensure patients receive timely and appropriate care.
- Document patient visit notes accurately from home for compliance and continuity of care.
