About The Position

Metropoltian Behavioral Health, a UHS Facility, is a growing 144-bed behavioral health facility providing a full continuum of inpatient services for adolescents, adults, and older adults. They offer specialty programs, behavioral health assessments 24 hours a day, and programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues. The facility also provides a robust outpatient program utilizing group, family, and individual therapy. The Registered Nurse (RN) coordinates and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members, adhering to the nursing process and standards of care. They are responsible for overseeing and directing LPNs and MHTs on their units to ensure patient safety and meet patient needs.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program.
RN license issued by the State of Michigan.
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
Full-Time Night Shift (7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.).
Works rotating holidays and every other weekend.

Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.
Oversee and direct the LPNs and MHTs on their units to provide for the safety and needs of the patients.
