About The Position
Full-Time Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) for DAY shift; 7A-7P. This role is at the Center for Behavioral Health Maryland Heights, a 20-bed psychiatric hospital serving geriatric patients with mental health needs such as cognitive illnesses. The hospital provides care in a supportive and therapeutic environment. As a Behavioral Health RN, you’ll assess patient needs, implement care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families. You’ll help ensure a safe, compliant, and healing environment for all.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active RN license in Missouri
- CPR/BLS required
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of nursing experience in a behavioral or geriatric setting
Responsibilities
- Deliver care in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies
- Monitor patient status and communicate changes to providers
- Administer and document medications accurately
- Maintain compliance with all licensing and accreditation standards
- Use universal precautions and support de-escalation protocols
