Requirements
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience required.
- Ventilator Management experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Delivers safe patient care using the nursing process
- Provides direct patient care within scope of practice
- Educates patients and families; directs nursing support staff
- Maintains standards of care on the Medical/Surgical Unit
- Accountable for care of assigned patients
- Communicates clinical changes to physicians and responds promptly to condition changes
