RN – Pediatric Private Duty | Evening Shift | TPN/Central Line
About The Position
Castor Home Health Solutions is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 nursing care for a teenager in Peoria during a consistent 4:00 PM–11:00 PM evening shift. This case includes TPN administration and central line care, making it a great fit for an RN who wants to use their clinical skills without juggling a large patient assignment. Central line experience is preferred, but don't count yourself out if you need case-specific training. We'd still love to talk with you. As your patient's 1:1 RN, you'll provide the skilled nursing care they need while allowing them to remain comfortably at home.
Requirements
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Strong assessment and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Central line experience preferred
- TPN experience preferred
- Pediatric or private duty nursing experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Administering and monitoring TPN as ordered
- Providing central line care and monitoring
- Assessing and monitoring your patient's condition
- Administering medications and treatments
- Following the individualized plan of care
- Completing required nursing documentation
- Communicating with the family and Castor clinical team
- Providing compassionate, age-appropriate care
