About The Position

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking experienced, dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) for Per Diem opportunities throughout the Hampton Roads area. This role offers the flexibility to choose shifts that fit your schedule, competitive pay, and dedicated Staffing Coordinators available for support. Full-time hours are available, and weekly pay is provided.

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Facility-based nursing experience
• Current BLS/CPR
• Current PPD/TB screening
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments
• Develop and coordinate patient care plans
• Complete assessments and required documentation
• Communicate with physicians and advanced practice providers
• Provide wound care and other nursing treatments
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Respond appropriately to patient needs and emergencies
• Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and other healthcare personnel as applicable
• Provide leadership and support to the healthcare team
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements
